There’s something special about watching someone learn a new skill, and our Learn2Skate programme proved just how transformative roller skating can be.
From May to September, with support from Make Moves, Spotify, and Nike, this three-term initiative helped participants of all ages master the basics of skating in a fun, inclusive environment.
Celebrating Progress at the Final Showcase
The highlight of the programme was the Final Showcase, where participants showed off their new skills to funders, families, and supporters. It was a celebration of all their hard work and progress.
Inclusive and Supportive Environment
But Learn2Skate wasn’t just about learning to skate—it was about so much more. Participants built resilience, boosted their physical fitness, and formed friendships along the way. For many, the rink became a place where they could step out of their comfort zone and discover their own potential.
