Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (2024–2025)
1. Organisational Structure and Activities
RollaDome All Skates is a UK-based Charity organisation delivering community sport, physical activity, youth development, and employability programmes. Our work is delivered primarily through partnerships with local authorities, schools, community venues, and other voluntary sector organisations.
We operate exclusively within the UK and do not have overseas offices or supply chains.
Shape
2. Our Commitment
RollaDome All Skates is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to act ethically, transparently, and with integrity, and we are committed to safeguarding the rights and dignity of all individuals connected to our work.
Although we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to our size, we do so voluntarily as part of our commitment to good governance and responsible practice.
Shape
3. Policies and Governance
We have policies and procedures in place that support our approach to preventing modern slavery, including:
  • Safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion policies
  • Safer recruitment practices
  • Code of conduct for staff, volunteers, and contractors
  • Whistleblowing procedures
These policies are reviewed periodically and are embedded within our organisational culture and delivery practice.
Shape
4. Risk Assessment
Given the nature and scale of our operations, RollaDome All Skates considers the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our direct operations to be low.
Potential risk areas, though limited, may include:
  • Procurement of goods and services (e.g. equipment, uniforms, materials)
  • Use of third-party contractors or suppliers
We mitigate these risks through proportionate due diligence and by working primarily with reputable UK-based suppliers and partners.
Shape
5. Due Diligence and Supply Chains
Our supply chains are short, predominantly UK-based, and typically involve low-risk goods and services. We take reasonable and proportionate steps to ensure that suppliers and partners operate ethically and in compliance with applicable laws.
These steps include:
  • Selecting suppliers with transparent and reputable business practices
  • Avoiding suppliers where concerns about labour practices are identified
  • Raising awareness of ethical standards with partners where appropriate
Shape
6. Training and Awareness
We promote awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking through:
  • Safeguarding training for staff and volunteers
  • Clear reporting routes for concerns or suspicions
  • A culture that encourages openness, challenge, and accountability
Where relevant, staff involved in procurement or partnership working are made aware of their responsibilities in identifying and responding to potential risks.
Shape
7. Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement
RollaDome All Skates is committed to continuous improvement in identifying and mitigating risks related to modern slavery. We will:
  • Review this statement annually
  • Monitor changes to our operations and supply chains
  • Update policies and practices as required
As the organisation grows, we will strengthen our processes in a manner that remains proportionate and appropriate to our scale.
